REFRESHMENT HOST MINISTRY DESCRIPTION

1.            The Refreshment Host Ministry at Hope Community Church involves serving refreshments after church on Sundays. We believe this is a ministry everyone can be involved in, so we are asking everyone at Hope to participate in this fellowship ministry.

2.             If everybody does their part you will be hosting about two or three times a year.

3.             Setup (outside unless it’s raining, cold, or too hot):

o         Make coffee and juice before church

¨        Fill the large coffee pot for 50 cups. Add 4½ scoops of coffee. (Use the ½ cup scoop).

¨        Please bring 2 bottles of juice or use the lemonade in the kitchen.

¨        ABSOBUTELY NO RED OR GRAPE colored juice, punch, soda, or Kool-Aid!

o         Put the small collapsible rectangle white table right outside the lobby for the refreshments.

o         Make sure there is a garbage can by the coffee pot.

o         Bring cookies or other goodies, if you like (optional).

o         Serve refreshments with a smile.

4.                  Cleanup:

o        Wipe off table and bring it inside the Fellowship Hall.

o        Please empty coffee pot and clean it up.

o        Return all condiments to the kitchen and throw trash in the garbage bin.

o        Take all leftover juice home or put it in the refrigerator.
