Responsibilities: There are some things we want all workers in the nursery to follow. These are for your protection as well as the protection of the children.
1. Pick up and deliver children at the counter. Make sure parents sign in.
2. Do not accept children that are visibly ill. (Runny nose, spots, fevers.)
3. Always have one attendant with the toddlers if they are outside playing in the patio area. If only one attendant is present the group needs to stay together.
4. Gloves are available when changing children.
5. Remove sheets from crib at the end of your service time. Please give them to Margo Barker so she can wash them.
6. Empty the trash at the end of your session.
7. Make sure blinds are closed, speakers off and doors locked at the end of your session.
8. Put away all snacks and cleaning supplies.
9. If someone is injured, please inform the parent immediately or after your session depending on the seriousness of the injury.
10. Clean toys and changing table with the cleaning product available in the nursery supply cabinet.
11. If the nursery is low on any supplies please write it down and give the list to Margo Barker.
12. In case of emergency, let the Parking Lot Attendant know or use the emergency switch by the cupboard.
13. Only one attendant and one helper are allowed in the nursery during the worship service.
